Producer/Director

Ravi Mishra is an international producer and director based in New Delhi, India, specialising in commercial documentary and factual storytelling. With over a decade of experience working across India, Ravi combines the editorial depth of journalism with the production demands of commercial and broadcast filmmaking.

Originally a photojournalist, Ravi was born in northern India and raised in Mumbai. His background in documentary and reporting shaped his approach to storytelling—grounded in strong research, authenticity, and deep cultural understanding.

Today Ravi works primarily as a producer and director on commercial documentaries and branded storytelling, collaborating with global companies such as Google, Apple, Meta, ServiceNow, Zscaler and Coursera. His work sits at the intersection of journalism, documentary filmmaking and brand storytelling, bringing cinematic narratives to real-world stories.

Alongside commercial work, Ravi frequently collaborates with international NGOs and humanitarian organisations including WaterAid, Save the Children, Médecins Sans Frontières, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Global Witness. He has also served as a brand ambassador for the People’s Vigilance Committee on Human Rights, supporting work with marginalised communities in India.

His storytelling work has been recognised internationally, with projects receiving honours including an Emmy Award and a Silver World Medal at the New York TV & Film Awards.

Ravi’s broadcast collaborations include projects with Discovery Channel, National Geographic, American Public Television, NBCUniversal, Channel 4, Al Jazeera, ARTE and ARD, among many others.

Ravi considers himself an aspiring visual activist, using film and photography to document stories that inform, challenge, and inspire change.
